This information document applies to data management in connection with the cookie used on the https://www.zaev.hu website, operated by ZÁÉV co. ltd., as Data Controller (hereinafter: Data Controller) and is intended for the information of the data subjects (i.e. you, as an individual visiting our website), and further contains information on also in relation to IP addresses recorded when visiting the website.


The purpose of the Data Controller is to provide accurate and legally compliant information about why and how it handles the personal data of individuals who visit the website.

This information was prepared with a view to the following legal rules:
-    Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (’GDPR’);
-    Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination and on freedom of information (’Info Act’);
-    Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communication;

Storing IP address
An IP address (’Internet Protocol’) is a unique set of numbers which belongs to each the internet-connected device. An IP address identifies the device you use for browsing and allows it to communicate with other devices, so IP addresses are also considered as personal data.

The various cookies used on the Data Controller’s website - if you have enabled them under the cookie settings - store the IP address of the device on which you have visited the website, because this is essential for their operation.

However, the Data Controller is unable to identify you based on the IP addresses captured on the website, keep records of IP addresses, or specifically search for individual IP addresses. As a result, you cannot be identified by your IP address by the Data Controller.

’Cookies’ (in Hungarian ’sütik’) are small text files that are placed on your computer or other device you use for browsing the internet by the websites that you visit.

Legal basis for data processing regarding „cookies”
With the exception of cookies that are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website (which do not collect information considered personal data), the use of cookies is based on your express and appropriate consent, which forms the legal basis for related data management. Data subject rights
In accordance with the current legislation, bearing the specific characteristics and legal basis of data management relating to cookies in mind, you are entitled to the rights detailed below regarding the management of your personal data. 
-    You have the right to request the Data Controller to grant you access to your personal data, to rectify, delete or restrict the processing of such data and to make such data portable for you in a machine-readable format, as long as it does not conflict with the limitations of the exercise of these rights established by law.
-    You have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority at any time, as well as the right to a legal remedy.

Be aware that the exercise of the rights detailed here may be affected by the technical characteristics of data management in connection with cookies.

I.    The right of access
You have the right to request information at any time regarding whether and how your personal data is managed by the Data Controller, including the purposes of the data management, the recipients to whom your data has been transferred or will be transferred, the source from which your data was received by the Data Controller, the data retention period, your rights related to data management, and in the case of data transfer to a third country or an international organization, information on related guarantees.

As part of your right of access, you are furthermore entitled to request a copy of your processed data. In the case of electronically submitted requests – unless otherwise specified – the Data Controller will provide you with the requested information electronically (by email or in .pdf format). If your right of access adversely affects the rights and freedoms of others, the Data Controller is entitled to refuse the fulfilment of your request to the necessary and proportionate extent.

II.    Right to rectification

We will rectify or complement your personal data at your request (e.g. in case of data changes), if the technical characteristics of data management allow it. Should there be any doubt regarding the rectified data, you will primarily have the right to verify the modified data with legal instruments. 
Should we have communicated the personal data affected by this right to another person, we will inform the recipients immediately after the data is rectified unless it would prove to be impossible or require a disproportionate effort.


III.    Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’): 
If you request the deletion of some or all of your personal data, the Data Controller will delete it without undue delay if:
-    the Data Controller no longer needs the given personal data for the purpose for which it was collected or otherwise managed;
-    the data was managed based on the legitimate interests of the Data Controller or a third party, but you objected to such data management and there is no overriding legal reason for managing such data; 
-    the personal data were unlawfully managed or
-    the deletion of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation.


Should the Data Controller has communicated the personal data affected by this right to another person, the Data Controller shall immediately inform these persons after the deletion unless it would prove to be impossible or require a disproportionate effort.


Please note that the Data Controller is not obliged to delete personal data in all cases, especially e.g in the event that data processing is necessary for the purpose of complying with a legal obligation.

IV.    The right to restrict data management
You can request the restriction of the management of your personal data in the following cases:
-     if you dispute the accuracy of the personal data - in this case, the limitation applies to the period that allows the Data Controller to check the accuracy of the personal data;
-    if the data management is illegal, but you oppose the deletion of the data and instead request the restriction of their use;
-    if the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of data management, but you require them to submit, enforce or protect legal claims; or
-    if you have objected to data processing - in this case, the restriction applies to the period until it is determined whether the Data Controller’s legitimate reasons take precedence over your legitimate reasons

Restriction of data management means that personal data affected by the restriction will not processed by the Data Controller, except for storage. 
Should the Data Controller has communicated the personal data affected by this right to another person, the Data Controller shall immediately inform these recipients of the limitation of data management, unless it would prove to be impossible or require a disproportionate effort.

V.    Right of data portability
With regard to cookies for which data management is dependent on your consent, you are entitled to receive personal data processed about you in a detailed, widely used, machine-readable format.
VI.    Right to complain, right of appeal
If you believe that the management of your personal data by the Data Controller violates the data protection legislation in force at all times, in particular the provisions of GDPR or of the Info Act, you have the right to submit a complaint to the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority (’NAIH’) at the following contact details:
